There are many people in the world who love the toy Chihuahua not only for its diminutive size but also for their very sweet temperament. This dog is the smallest of all the dog breeds known to man and also the oldest. Its origins can be traced to a place in Mexico after which it is named. The Aztec bred this dog for their royalty in ancient times. However, at that time the Chihuahua was slightly larger than what it is today.

By description, everything about this dog is cute and endearing. It has a tiny apple shaped head, eyes that seem too large for their head and sharp, pointed upright ears. Its eyes are slightly bulging and the muzzle is tiny and sharp. Do not be taken in by its looks though -the toy Chihuahua might look extremely fragile, but this dog is muscular and quite strong for its size.
The toy Chihuahua comes with a custom made temperament and character. Though generally speaking these dogs are friendly, extrovert and cuddly - there are plenty of variation to their temperament, mostly owing to incorrect breeding practices. One trait that stands out about this breed is that they make exceptional guard dogs in spite of their size.
The toy Chihuahua loves attention and thrives on it. They are very territorial and hate to share anything their ‘own’ including their owners. This is why these dogs and young children do not mix well. They can get very aggressive if anyone else hogs the limelight and in their excitement they can even bite.
There is another reason why you should keep children away from this breed. This dog looks very small and is often taken for a toy by young kids who in their wish to cuddle and pet it might squeeze a little too hard or sit or stamp on it, hurting or even killing it.
When you choose a toy Chihuahua as your pet you get a lot more than that. You get endless entertainment, as these dogs are extremely comical in their behavior; you get a faithful companion who will never leave your side as long as they live. You get an excellent guard dog that will keep you alerted about any possible intrusion in your home. And lastly you get an animal that will love you unconditionally and demand nothing less than that from you.
You need to be careful not to spoil these dogs as they behave just like small children in their demand for attention and your love. They love luxuries and your company; therefore you will find them more often sleeping in your bed than in theirs. Training needs to be imparted very early, as these dogs can be very strong-headed when they grow into adults. This is one of the reasons why most owners find it extremely difficult to housebreak the toy Chihuahua.

Learn about other cultures before you place a tag on them like that. You’re either a vegetarian, vegan, or an ignorant freak. Haven’t you ever eaten a cow or a pig? Maybe a goat? Don’t those animals have feelings too? I’m no vegetarian (and thank GOD I never will be), but hey, if you’re gonna bag on people who eat dogs, why don’t you bag on everyone else who eats meat at all! I don’t eat dogs and never will. However, there are cultures that eat dogs specifically bred for their meat. So before you jump to conclusions and say that those who eat canine meat are cruel bitches, think about yourself or your family and friends who eat meat. Also, it wouldn’t hurt for you to learn how to spell either. I don’t think “absolutelt” is a word. Go to school. Get some real education and don’t EVER pull a Christina Aguilera again you fuck face.
