Usually, the dog owners use the collars for them to put on the identification tags of their dogs and also to put on these tags the medical information of the dog. As a way to control the dog, these dog collars are used to provide the owners with control of the dog by allowing the owner to have a grab. Also, for those dogs which require more, control, what is needed is a dog harness.

The jeweled dog collars are among those that are associated to the dog collars for fashion purposes. One of the basic types of the dog collars is the buckle collars or the flat collars which are often made of leather or nylon webbing and together with a buckle that is more similar to the belt buckle. There are also buckle collars with the quick release buckle and which is able to hold the collar loosely around the neck of the dog. Then the owner can just place an identification tag on this buckle collar.

There are also a number of jeweled dog collars which are not just for fashion but for some good reasons. One of these is the flea collars type of the jeweled collars which are saturated with chemicals that are able to repel the infestation of fleas. Nevertheless, some of these collars are just used by the owners of the dog as a supplementary to the buckle collar. Among the popular designs of the fashion collars at present are the stud collars which actually have protection significance. The stud collars are leather collars which are fitted with a number of dulled points or metal studs which traditionally were used to prevent the dog from being bitten by another animal on the neck.

The jeweled dog collars are actually a form of the unique dog collars or the fashion collars and these collars are often made from a number of leather imitations that looks classy. A number of people are buying the classy look of the jeweled dog collars which are made from stainless steel and are accessorized with high quality rhinestone pendants. The custom-made collars are best worn also with custom made dog clothes as well as designer dog apparels or even the luxury dog apparels. Most of these fashion collars are highly expensive as the rhinestone dog collars are especially crafted by hand in order to ensure the lasting quality of the collar. Likewise, there are also collars accessorized with Swarovski crystal.

While some may be very expensive, there are also classy jeweled dog collars that are fairly priced. As you can see, some jeweled dog collars are functional as well as fashionable!
